In an investiture ceremony held on April 14, 2003, Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin was formally installed as the 30th leader of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In a speech titled, "The Multiplier Effect," she addressed the UW–Madison campus community, members of the international academic community, and representatives from the nation and elected officials.
